Description Torsional vibration dampers performance are optimized by selecting visco elastic materials with maximum loss factor in the temperature and frequency range of interest, and with a stiffness range that maximizes strain energy in the damping element.
To analyze such a complex engineering problem, it is necessary to employ a test bench.
This project aims at characterizing the performances of a state-of-the-art industrial test bench, considering in particular metrological characteristics.
