Description The thesis topic will focus on the development of an architecture for efficient deployment and management of automotive applications for connected autonomous vehicles. Edge computing and aspects such as service placement and scaling at the edge and the vehicle will be addressed. For the feasibility assessment, a testbed development will be leveraged. The thesis also includes the use of ML-based algorithms in distributed environments, and the design of an architecture that can effectively exploit this paradigm in the mobile-edge-cloud continuum.
