Description Landslides in coastal areas pose further risks due to the generation of rogue waves, often of large sizes, which can travel for hundreds of kilometers, challenging risk mitigation systems. These waves can also be generated by completely or partially submerged landslides. In this case, the link between the characteristics of the wave and those of the landslide is not clear. Through a DEM-LBM grain-scale numerical model, we propose to simulate a partially submerged landslide, and compare the results with laboratory-scale experiments.
