Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description This thesis aims to investigate the development of a Digital Twin, starting from the definition of an IoT system addressed to patients with neurodegenerative diseases.
After performing a state of the art related to the requirements analysis, the student will have to integrate Building Information Modelling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies in terms of HW and SW, to test them in a relevant environment and evaluate their performances.
Knowledge of the IoT world, of the functioning of Computer Networks and previous experience on LINUX environment and Python programming language are required.
Finally, curiosity and proactivity are required.
Through the interoperability between software, the student will be able to analyze the interaction between heterogeneous databases to propose innovative solutions in the biomedical sector.
This topic falls under the field of smart cities and telemedicine.
Required skills Database, IoT communication protocols, BIM, VR, Object Oriented Programming (python)
