Advanced numerical modelling for the design of components for the Divertor Tokamak Test facility
Description The aim of the proposed project is to carry out numerical simulations by means of the finite element method to support the design of some components of the Divertor Tokamak Test facility. Very challenging numerical simulations are foreseen, which include interactions among the mechanical, thermal and magnetic fields. The Divertor Tokamak Test facility will be used to develop and test innovative solutions for the construction of the first nuclear fusion reactor in Europe.
