Description In sleep medicine, one of the major diseases is sleep apnea, which can cause excessive sleepiness during the day, high blood pressure and concentration problems. The thesis aims at developing a methodology able to identify sleep apnea only utilizing the physiological details acquired by a commercial wearable device. This work will be developed in collaboration with sleep expert medical doctors and SAT (Sleep Advice Technologies Srl), and it consists in reviewing the existing literature, in contributing developing methodologies for sleep apnea identification starting from an existing data set, and in contributing prototyping an embedded solution for sleep apnea identification.
