Description Design of floating and modular living platforms with the aim of making them adaptable to extreme climate events (floods, sea-level rise, etc.), creating a sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystem. In particular, the thesis intends to develop living modules, defining their shape and volume, uses and distribution in relation to the marine environment.
The interdisciplinary thesis is part of a research project by the Marine Offshore Renewable Energy Lab (MORE Lab), which specialized in offshore energy systems.

Required skills  Sustainable design
Knowledge of software for the analysis of climatic conditions (especially sun and wind) in different architectural/urban volumes.
