Description Virtual 3D reconstruction of an operating environment consisting of a "child" mannequin placed inside a tube, study of the solutions that can be adopted for the safety / recovery of the child and prototype experiments.
The work consists of creating a simulated three-dimensional environment in which a "child" mannequin is placed inside a vertical axis duct. The mannequin and the pipe are available at DIMEAS. The mannequin is "stuck" inside the tube and, under the effect of its own weight and / or vibrations produced by the external environment, it could slide downwards. To avoid this unwanted movement, it is necessary to intervene by means of devices that can block the mannequin, preventing further sliding, and that can be used, together with other systems, in the recovery phase.
The work is part of a broader research aimed at creating a device for the recovery of children who have fallen into wells.
