Wind Turbine Failure Detection

Description Wind turbines are rather complex objects. Inside them, there are SCADA systems, used to monitor both the operating status of each component and environmental data. For various reasons, i.e. the need for a lot of storage space, not all wind farms monitor all the parameters that a SCADA system can measure.
The aim of the thesis is therefore to use machine learning techniques to detect the failures that can occur in different parts of the wind turbines, such as the generator and the gearbox.
The thesis can also be carried out remotely. Basics of Python and machine learning are not required but are still strongly recommended.
