Description The recent period of drought has significantly impacted groundwater resource to obviate the scarcity of the surface water network. With a view to non-over-exploitation of the aquifers it may be necessary to provide for their recharge even artificially. In this thesis we want to examine the current techniques for artificial groundwater recharging and compare different case studies.
