Extraction and purification of high added value molecules from food waste
Reference persons DEBORA FINO
Description This thesis will have to manage research activities in the context of the study of development, optimization and implementation of Green Chemistry processes at the pilot scale for the valorization of waste and biomass from food sector, which are suitable for extracting and recovering molecules with high added value, in accordance with the principles of Circular Economy. The techniques sought for the extraction and recovery of molecules will include methods with organic solvents, enzymes, and physics.
Biomass and waste treated in the study will range from cereal to aquaculture biomasses, from primary to secondary food production sectors.
