Description The aim is to develop a methodology (the simplest method) to represents the dynamic behaviour of spotwelds (1d and 3d modelling); the student will develop a virtual model (solver Abaqus and Nastran/Optistruct) that fully correlates with experimental data and develops a standard workflow (how to set up material card, how to model the comp) that will become the roadmap for similar comps.
