Description The practice of Augmented Testing is a recent evolution in testing graphical user interface (GUI)-based applications, relying on interface models and artificial intelligence mechanisms to suggest tasks to end users.
The objective of the thesis is to extend an Augmented Testing platform from testing web applications to testing mobile applications (native Android or hybrid) by implementing plugins that add functionalities currently not available in the state of the art.
The thesis work will involve one or more of the following development activities:
- Definition of a testing methodology for mobile applications using Augmented Testing.
- Definition of a coverage model for web and mobile applications in the context of augmented testing.
- Definition of a mutation generation mechanism for web and mobile applications in the context of augmented testing.
- Definition and implementation of reporting elements and gamification for augmented test sessions.
- Definition of cooperation methodologies among users in the context of augmented test sessions.
