Description The thesis will be carried out at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche CNR-STIIMA in Biella. The natural dyes will be extracted from insects using a water-based process for the extraction of proteins and pigments. The dyeing of textiles of different compositions will be studied varying the process parameters, to obtain the best colour intensity. Colour fastness and dye-fiber interactions will be evaluated
