Description The thesis project involves the development of a biosensor for the screening of anticancer drugs that act as inhibitors of the lactate dehydrogenase enzyme. This enzyme is indeed overexpressed in the cells of various tumor tissues and plays a fundamental role in the biochemical processes that promote the proliferation of cancer cells. The experimentation will focus on the creation of a prototype to eventually realize the full-scale biosensor.
