Description Effective communication is vital for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, with sign language playing a crucial role in facilitating this interaction. However, current automatic sign language recognition systems pose challenges due to complexity and high costs, limiting accessibility for the target community.

This research project focuses on developing an affordable, real-time sign language recognition platform, exploring cutting-edge techniques. The goal is to create a cost-effective and user-friendly solution that addresses the unique needs of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The research will be conducted on a Vision AI-oriented device chosen for its power efficiency and compatibility.
