Description Numerical simulation of shallow tunnel excavation processes in an urbanized area for the evaluation of their interaction with existing structures along the excavation path. This activity is aimed at the possible quantification of induced deformations also to provide appropriate monitoring systems and tools to be used during the excavation phases.
