Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL
Description The thesis focuses on the development of sustainable biotechnologies for air purification through a combination of sustainable materials and biotechnologies. The main goal is to develop an air purification system that integrates modified zeolites (e.g., with the addition of TiO2 nanoparticles) with selected biocomponents for their ability to adsorb and degrade gaseous pollutants. The research will concentrate on creating prototypes of hybrid systems that leverage the zeolites' capacity to capture specific pollutants and, at the same time, provide a substrate for biological components that can further improve air quality through natural adsorption and photosynthesis processes. This study will contribute to research in the field of air purification, offering innovative solutions to address the growing concern regarding atmospheric pollution and its impact on human health and the environment.
