Description This thesis involves the development of a methodology for automatic checking and validation of time series of daily flow rates, in order to identify inconsistencies both within the time series itself and between time series acquired at different points along the hydrographic network. This methodology will be translated into a tool, either to be implemented in a GIS environment or through Matlab/R scripts.
