Description Implementation of a measurement system for stress and durability testing of laser systems. The activity involves the integration of the commonly instruments used for testing (power meters, focus monitors, temperature and photodiode sensors) to create an acquisition system with the necessary security features for remote operation.
The system must manage in total autonomy the chiller and/or fan regulation to adjust the temperature of the device being tested, the current driver used to modulate the laser power, the acquisition of temperature, photodiodes and other parameters of the laser device under testing. Everything must then be processed and transmitted via serial and wireless communication to the connected devices on site and remotely, respectively.
