Description Design and implementation of a "lens-less" holgoraphic imaging system, i.e. with no optics requiring accurate alignments. Such a holographic system will be able to riconstruct images of objects with low intensity contrast with the surrounding environment (e.g. bacteria and yeasts inwater), while keeping an adequate spatial resolution (<10 microns).
Required skills Basics of optics, DAQ and control systems, LabView, image analysis, MatLab.
