Description Temporary uses of abandoned urban areas is a focus of town planning and architecture contemporary debate. This topic involves environmental, economic and technological issues related to the life cycle analysis of building and infrastructures. Sustainability, economical feasibility of projects, as well as design and production methodologies are part of the theme. The focus of the thesis will be the technological and design aspects related to the development of a temporary use in urban areas.
