Description The main objective of the thesis is to use coherent noise present in exploration seismic records to extract useful information from it. The task of the job will be processing groundroll noise to estimate velocity model. An industrial data-set will be used to test innovative processing methods developed at Politecnico and compare the results with other processing techniques developed in an industry research center . The work will be carried out in the framework of an industry research project funded by Total E&P.
