Seismic analysis of masonry buildings

Description The thesis aims to identify, within all the critical mechanisms typical of masonry structures, the differences between the safety indices resulting from seismic analyses. In particular, the aspects concerning the different modeling methodologies (equivalent frame, limit analysis, bi and three-dimensional finite elements) and the verification methodologies (static / dynamic seismic analysis, linear / non-linear) will be examined. The study will refer to a real case of masonry building.
