Description Honeycomb composite structures are prone to defects induced by the manufacturing process, e.g., during curing. Such defects influence the operating life of the components and may be worsen by low-velocity impacts.
The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of the existing methodologies for such problems and establish the most promising via numerical and analytical assessments.
