Description This thesis aims to evaluate the seismic safety of existing concrete dams in relation to the Italian standard of 26/06/2014. In particular, the aspect of structural ductility and its influence on the response of the dam will be examined. This study is of particular relevance given the large number of Italian dams that require a seismic re-evaluation based on current legislation.
