Description Hydrodynamic reception refers to the ability of some aquatic animals to sense water movements in the surrounding environment. This sense in fish commonly refers to the lateral line system (an array of hydrodynamic receptors).
The main aim of the thesis is to generate and measure fish reaction to complex hydrodynamic stimulus.
