Description The thesis is linked to the European project BRISK II (https://www.brisk2.eu/) and can be carried out in collaboration with an international partner. The aim of the work consists in comparing different catalysts for CH4 synthesis (via CO2 hydrogenation) in terms of activity, selectivity and stability. Kinetic modeling can be then developed to investigate the reaction mechanism for each catalyst. The obtained intrinsic kinetics can be used as a starting point for the synthesis reactor modeling, moving thus from catalysts scale to reactor/process scale, within the power-to-gas (or, more generally, renewable-to-gas) pathway
