MODELLING of FATIGUE BAHAVIOUR (LCF and TMF) of MICRO-SWITCH

Description Starting from an available model of the microsystem (based on a phenomenological approach) and from the reference literature (to be previously updated), the aim of the thesis is the development of a methodology to estimate the duration of the microswitch under the application of electromechanical cyclic loads isothermal and thermal, evaluating different damage models (e.g. Whoeler, Haigh, Miner). The application purpose of the work is to be able to operate the microswitch as much as possible below its duration limit and, in the case of its approaching, to be able to take over an electronic recovery system.
