Descrizione With the continuous growth of the amount of information (private and sensitive) stored on the Web, cybersecurity is becoming more and more a serious concern for people but especially for companies and government. The need of a secure and trusted way of communicating and sharing information has grown in recent years. All the major web-based messaging services (e.g. Telegram and Whatsapp) provide end-to-end encryption mechanism, but what if you want something more trustworthy? The main scope of this thesis is to design and implement a secure messaging application that takes advantage of an external crypto device (SEcube™) that will provide all the functionalities required for the encryption/decryption of messages.
