Description The art of escape is an unfinished and posthumous work by Bach composed of 14 Fugues and 4 Canons. All the experiments on counterpoint generated by the transformations of a single theme of 12 notes is a systematic collection. Representing the score in a system of cartesian axes, the geometric analysis studies the isometries at the base of the different methods of variation; the arithmetic and numerological analysis analyzes the numbers to which Bach relies to build a musical architecture regulated by numerical dispositions and symbolism of the figures.
