Description The aim of the thesis is to assess the possibility of a geomagnetic survey to confirm the exisence of a deep thrust (300m depth, elongated in SN direction) that has been approximately seen by seismic surveys. The thesis consists of a field acquisition campaign on an area in the western Piedmont plan of about 10 km (NS) and 5 km (EW) with a station density of about 1/50m (EW) and 1/100m (SN). Gathered data will be processed by 2D snd 3D modelling and inversion techniques.
