The proposed thesis concerns the study of water wheels, turbine-pumps, for very low head differences (0.2m-3m) as in irrigation canals and offers different developments
such as:
knowledge of the state of the art
CFD simulations for machine-fluid interaction,
study of the power transmission system and of the generator/motor unit .
During the development of the thesis the possibility of carrying out part of the thesis abroad will be considered.
