Thesis type THEORETICAL AND NUMERICAL
Description Ligneous biomass is a renewable fuel, largely used in small combustion appliances, whose main drawback is the emission in the atmosphere of the solid particolate present in the flue gases. The thesis concerns the study and the construction of a mechanical filter (without electrical components) for small heat generators fueled with pellet or wood, the definition of test protocols to validate its effectiveness and to obtain data useful for series production of the filters.
Required skills Principles of combustion and fluid dynamics
