Description Traffic simulations are up to now the most used tool to evaluate and test V2V network scenarios and innovative solutions for Smart Cities.
The demands of both V2V and Smart City projects are increasingly pushing towards large-scale simulations in order to study the proposed application in a vast mobility environment, even a whole urban area. Within this context, collaboration with traffic data provider agencies is a key aspect for the implementation of a realistic urban scenario.
In this thesis, we are looking for talented students to reproduce Turin's traffic data from the public mobility agency 5T Srl in a simulation tool. In particular the student will be required to spend time in 5T, analyzing traffic data produced and inspecting a way to represent them on a SUMO simulator.
