Description Goal of the thesis, which will be entirely carried out in collaboration with Teoresi S.p.A, is the design of an advanced system for the reproduction of sounds on electric vehicles (AVAS = Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems). The candidate will follow all phases of the project: from the study of the signals and network to the prototyping of the system. In particular, the project aims to examine in depth the most efficient and effective means to produce in the listener the sensations of the driver at the steering wheel. For this aim, it will be essential to master the communication protocols of last generation vehicles, with the management and programming of audio synthesis and algorithmic composition.

Required skills Required knowledge:
Knowledge of C/C++ programmig language
Knowledge of audio synthesis programming. A knowledge of algorithmic music and algorithmic composition is desirable
Knowledge of the automotive world is desirable
