Description Network monitoring represents a key step for several applications, such as cyber-security and traffic engineering, but it is widely known that may expose privacy-sensitive information. Moreover new privacy regulations (e.g. GDPR) impose strict rules when handling data that carry privacy-sensitive information, therefore precautions must be taken.
We are looking for passionate students who want to contribute to the creation of a modular tool that can guarantee real-time privacy for users on the network. It is important to find clever strategies to manage packets at high speeds.
In this thesis we aim to expand the tool with new components to guarantee ever higher levels of privacy and up with the times.
Required skills - Be passionate
- Good programming skills (advanced knowledge of C)
- Knowledge of the TCP / IP protocol stack
