Thesis type EXPERIMENTAL

Description The Thesis will be developed within the topis:
• compare different relief techniques to establish the most suitable in actual conditions considering available resources with particular attention to the accuracy of measures and to the definition of the superficial defects caused by damage and detectable with artificial intelligence techniques; expert choice of locations where improve the detailing based on previous experiences on similar structures (bearing zones, joints, span intradose, extradose of continuity regions, …);
• information implementation on digital platform BIM for an effective mapping of information on geometry, characteristics of the structure, position, typology and evolution of the damage zones in time;
• definition and use of a mechanical model on the base of digital model (as built, BIM) for the safety evaluation of the structure for different actual damage scenario and future evolution and to be able to obtain useful information for future inspections.
