Description The research work is part of seismic engineering and seismic risk reduction strategies, the design of seismic resistant structures and their structural optimization. The goal of this work is to define a methodology for the reduction of the vulnerability of existing reinforced concrete buildings through an innovative system of elastic and dissipative bracing. In particular, we want to define a multi-performance optimization procedure, with the subsequent implementation of an algorithm.
