Description The proposed thesis aims at study the design of basic arithmetic circuits at the layout level and to evaluate their resiliency versus radiation effects. The circuits will be analyzed by the FLUKA tool. FLUKA is a Monte Carlo simulation tool modelling the interactions of radiation with matter. It allows the implementation of complex geometries for simulation of detectors. The thesis is done in collaboration with CERN.
