Description Sampling will be conducted in collaboration with some Refuges located between the Gran Paradiso Park and the Ligurian Alps. The student
he could personally participate in the sampling, together with the alpine guides and the technician with whom the Polito Team is working directly. A geolocation will be made in order to have a homogeneous distribution on the territory under consideration, with the aim of then generating a
map to relate to the scientific data of analysis. The sampling period is obviously related to snow so it could go from January to March. Subsequently, the analyzes on the samples will be carried out at the DISAT laboratories at the Politecnico: it will be a question of determining the weight, number and subsequently the type of samples, using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and infrared spectroscopy.
