Structural health monitoring of a bridge in Torino with 5G (in cooperation with TIM)
Description This thesis is about an experimental and numerical study for structural health monitoring of a bridge located in Torino. Acceleration, temperature and strain sensors will be employed and the signals will be transmitted via 5G using the network of TIM thanks to a collaboration in place. Realtime data should be transmitted and analysed on a server placed at Politecnico. The aim is to test the 5G tecnology for monitoring and for early warning in case of anomalies.
