Thesis type MODELING AND DATA ANALYSIS

Description The student will be tasked to model the dynamic behavior of an electro-hydraulic flight control actuatos for wide-body aircrafts to evaluate its performances in degraded health conditions. Activities will be centred around the detailed modeling of the spherical joints employed to connect the actuator to the airframe on one side and to the control surface on the other. The model will be realized following a multi-body approach, including the description of the lubrication conditions according to Finite Difference Methods.
The student will also be responsible of the analysis of the simulated data and will work to design novel diagnostic/prognostic algorithms.
