Description The activity consists in the numerical simulation of a geometry placed at the exhaust of a constant volume combustor for aeronautical applications, experimentally tested at ENSMA (FR). The student will have to support the research group in the preparation and execution of the simulation with the ultimate aim of characterizing the functioning of the existing geometry with respect to a matrix of boundary conditions, comparing the obtained results with the available experimental data. Downstream of the validation phase, it will be possible to carry out a first optimization of the geometry by including a high pressure compartment (if possible).
