Description Environmental Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of a high temperature fuel cell (SOFC) based cogeneration system for use in the commercial building sector. The analysis will include the modeling of the production process of SOFC systems which will then be integrated, in the operational phase, into commercial buildings (supermarkets, hotels). Different scenarios of use of the SOFC system with natural gas supply (reference case) or mixtures of natural gas and hydrogen are analyzed. The objective of the analysis is the production of environmental impact assessment parameters, in terms of climate change (CO2eq / kWh) and other impact categories that will be defined during the modeling.

Methodology: LCA analysis with dedicated software

Required skills Skills required: curiosity and desire to learn new software dedicated to LCA analysis, autonomy, proactiveness. Good knowledge of English (thesis in English).
