Description Individual-based models are mathematical approaches able to descrive single-cell dynamics. The idea of the thesis is their application to specific biological and biomedical problems, with particular emphasis to the study of tumor growth and progression and degenerative diseases.
The thesis may also include the collaboration with selected experimental laboratories.
