Description Machine learning and deep learning algorithms are the cutting edge tools for advanced and innovative statistical analysis of big data. The use of such technique for positioning, navigation and related topics is still under investigation, but preliminary research analysis showed a great potential.
The aim of this thesis is the investigation of the possibilities to employ machine learning and deep learning techniques for GNSS related problems, such as:
- ionospheric scintillations detection and characterization
- radio frequency interference detection and characterization
