Description Experimental investigation and modeling of mechanical properties of polymers filled with biochar, a carbon material that will eventually substitute nanotubes and graphene in composites. The work will consist in:
- composites preparation
- mechanical testing (stress-strain curve, friction coefficient, nanoindentation)
- critical assessment of the results
- modeling the impact of composite structure and composition on its mechanical properties
