Description The first part of the proposed thesis involves the study of different mix-designs of foamed concretes and their mechanical characterization. In particular, it will focus on the study of the elastic modulus as the density of the designed mixture varies and, subsequently, assessments will be made between the grip of the reinforcing bars and the designed foamed concrete. The second part of the proposed thesis provides for the modeling and numerical simulation of the designed material, with in-depth analyzes also of an energetic / acoustic nature.
