Descrizione The thesis aims to model real demo buildings (residential and/or school) by using different tools, from EPC existing software to dynamic simulators. A reflection on differences in needed inputs - even based on the application of given inspection plan sheets - and in given outputs supporting technological choices for design improvements will be developed with special regards to both heating and cooling seasons. Potential abilities in defining free-running behaviours will also be investigated. A potential anlaysis of the impacts driven by changes in specific building design parameters and bioclimatic/low-energy technologies and principles is also expected by using parametric simulation methodologies to define and compare different retrofitting scenarios. The thesis work is connected to the EU H2020 projects EDYCE and PRELUDE (depending on the final working directions) investigating real demo buildings.
